Description
Château Figeac is owned by the Manoncourt family. Frédéric Faye, an agricultural engineer, is the technical director of the estate. The desire of the family is to be part of an approach of elegance, precision in the respect of the Figeac style.
The property stands out with a different grape variety from the other properties of the appellation. It consists of a majority of cabernets (francs and sauvignons) and 30% merlot. This characteristic makes Figeac the most medoc property of Saint-Emilion. Everything is done to preserve the typicity of the vintage.
The 2009 vintage is characterized by an intense and deep colour. The nose of black cherries and plums enchants us. The palate is delicate and reveals complex notes of black fruits, purple flowers and berries. Magnificent !
